The Diamond Trophy consists of three distinct elements, each highlighting a facet of athletics, and the athlete’s journey to the top of the sport.

The solid black granite base represents the strength of the athletes, but also the rocky road to success.

The main body features three ovals in the shape of a stadium track, each filled with an original track surface manufactured by the Swiss company Conica. It represents the speed of the athletes as well as the unique atmosphere of a stadium. It also provides a comfortable grip for the winners to hold the trophy.

At the crown of the trophy is the piece de resistance: the diamond itself. Cut from glass to shine like a real diamond, it represents the triumphant athlete: a shining beacon of brilliant performance.
