Bislett stadium 1980 – 1989

Ingrid Kristiansen dominates this decade with her four world records at Bislett. Two in the 5,000 m and two in the 10,000 m. 30.13.74 in the 10,000 m in 1986 must be one of the strongest records set in the stadium. Otherwise, the British will be ravaging Bislett. Sebastian Coe and Steve Ovett each had two records, Dave Moorcroft and Steve Cram each with their own records. Moroccan Said Aouita also sets a world record in the 5,000 m.
The Oslo Marathon is held for the first time in 1981. Skating has its last championship at Bislett in 1986.
