Bislett Stadium 2000 – 2010

The big opening of a brand-new Stadium in 2005, empowering a new chapter for great sports event in Oslo. During these 10 years seven world records in athletics was added to the history of the Stadium. The Norwegian javelin thrower, Trine Hattestad, set a new WR in 2000 with 69,49 m. Four new 5000 m records, the last in 2008 when the Ethiopian Tirunesh Dibaba run the fantastic time of 14.11,15.
