During this period, the world’s biggest athletics star visits Bislett for three years in a row. Usain Bolt leaves behind two strong track records, 100 m 9.79 and 200 m 19.79. A new star begins to shine from the middle of the period, Norway’s Karsten Warholm. In 2019 he sets a European record and track record in the 400 m hurdles with 47.33 and in 2021 he secures Bislett Stadium world record number 70, when he runs 46.70.
